Clearwater Dreams Dental

Common Emergencies

Severe Toothache

Persistent, throbbing pain is often a sign of infection. We diagnose the cause quickly to relieve pressure and pain immediately.

Knocked-Out Tooth

Time is critical. If treated within the hour, we can often re-implant a knocked-out tooth. Keep it moist in milk and call us instantly.

Broken or Chipped Tooth

We repair fractured teeth using bonding, veneers, or crowns to restore function and prevent sharp edges from cutting your mouth.

Abscess & Swelling

A swollen jaw or gums indicates a serious infection that can spread. We treat the infection at the source to protect your overall health.

Lost Crown or Filling

Exposed tooth tissue can be incredibly sensitive. We can re-cement your crown or replace the filling to protect the tooth.

Dental Trauma

Sports accidents or falls can damage teeth and gums. We provide comprehensive care to treat soft tissue injuries and stabilize loose teeth.

Everything You Need to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I go to the ER or the dentist?
For tooth pain or broken teeth, call the dentist. The ER usually cannot treat dental issues and will only give you antibiotics/painkillers. Only go to the ER for trauma involving head injuries or swelling that obstructs breathing.
What if my tooth gets knocked out?
Handle it by the crown (top), not the root. Rinse it gently without scrubbing. Try to put it back in the socket or store it in a cup of milk or saliva and come to us immediately.
Is a chipped tooth an emergency?
If it doesn't hurt, it might not be urgent, but you should still come in quickly. A chip can weaken the tooth and lead to cracks or infection if left untreated.
How much does an emergency visit cost?
It depends on the treatment needed (extraction, root canal, etc.). We will always provide a clear cost estimate and financing options before starting any work.

In Pain? Don’t Wait.

Delaying treatment can lead to tooth loss. Call us now for immediate assistance.
